It's weird looking now! The neighbor's pool was filling up with palm crap so it was time to trim it.

That does look weird. They trimmed it too much, like over-plucking the eyebrows. Well, it'll grow back...

Hey - that was the best part! Our neighbor, whose pool was a mess as a result of the tree, paid to have it trimmed. I offered to pay 1/2 but he declined.
When we lived on Guam, we had to knock the coconuts out of the palm trees before any typhoon (no matter how far away.) My husband used to laugh because he had to clear the coconuts out of the yard before he could mow.
